Junior Jack to launch
new album @ Defected in the House
Defected records once again continue to push forward
the boundaries of house music with their legendary and eagerly anticipated
monthly parties at the newly refurbished Ministry Of Sound. The
parties to date have been roadblocks and have seen some of the worlds
best house music DJ’s rock the dancefloor. This month marks
a special occasion, the occasion is the album launch party for (one
half) of the most prevalent, hardworking, technically brilliant
and inspiring DJ’s in the global house scene. Welcome the
much sought after Junior Jack Album – entitled ‘Trust
it’.
The massive club smash E-samba, which is currently
filling dancefloors all over the UK and Ibiza is the first track
to be released from this great album. This has been THE record of
the summer and is fast establishing itself as the BIGGEST record
of the year in clubland.
For those few people who are unfamiliar with this
pair, these DJ’s work back-to-back, unleashing tune after
tune of the freshest newly picked vinyl around. Many of the tracks
they play are remixed by themselves. Their discography is undeniably
huge!
Just recovering from his No. 1 UK smash ‘Make
Luv’ under his Room 5 alias, and with his current dance floor
devastator ‘E Samba’ riding high in the club charts,
Junior Jack is definitely on a roll. Kid Crème is well known
for his ‘Austin’s Groove’ track on Subliminal,
and subsequently his classic mix of Shakedown’s ‘At
Night’. His current floor filler ‘Hypnotising’
is also currently topping the club charts. This pair seems unstoppable
and will undoubtedly give a memorable show. As an added bonus there
will be an appearance from their own MC, MC Spike.Expect unconventional
vocals and lyrics and effects from this inimitable performer.
As if this wasn’t enough support for the
above comes in the form of Dan Smith and Conan Manchester who are
the hugely talented Liquid People. They met just as any good producers,
remixers and DJs should - at a party. The duo have now been producing,
remixing and DJing together for over four years, and are also known
as DLSP, Deepliquid Soul, U-Groove and Fake Blonde.
In the Rulin Bar you will find the residents Paul
Farris joined by House FM’s DJ Leo and Neil Peirce. House
FM have an awesome following from their well-respected radio station
and aim to bring the best of their underground DJ talent to the
bar. Their sound is smooth and soulful and will be a welcome retreat
to the jackin’ sound of the main room.
