You
can always rely on a MAW record, classy, soulfull, but with
this one add a bit of oomph, a little filtering, some great
horns and you're onto a winner. With a fine vocal performance
from Jody this will fill even the most stubborn floors, class
stuff u know. On the flipside a sort of semi dubby version with
a keyboard riff not unlike a certain Patrice Rushen tune, overall
not to be missed. Oh by the way, an acapella as well.

some tune from the seventies (we think, we'll let u know when
we figure it out). Typical filtered house that subliminal do
so well, this will not dissapoint. A repeated vocal sample and
plenty of in's and out's and up's and down's. Slighty tuffer
and more dubby on the flipside using the sample more sparingly

starting off with Redd Hott Mamma, a relentless filtered chugger
("chugger", word of the moment don't ya know) with
some, what sounds like messed about guitar and swishing sound
EFX. Flip it over and you'll find Makin' Love a 70's sampled
thing with some terrific pulled strings, a repeated vocal line
and a couple of filtered breaks (and a drum roll, what's going
on US). Next up is Don't Blame It, probably the one that'll
find favour on the more commercial floors, a filtered "Don't
blame it on the boogie" repeating the vocal line over and
over and over again and another, albeit short, breakdown.

Sometimes
a track comes along that sends a shiver down your spine when
you hear it, this is one of them, produced by the prolific and
talented Joey Negro this is an awesome slab of disco style house
with a top vocal performance from Yolanda, a great drivin' rhythm
track and Pheonix Horns style horn riffs. Throw in a sax solo
and you have hit written all over it. Flip it over and you'll
find an instrumental and an acapella. An essential purchase!

Don't Worry
Label
Subliminal
A fine
piece of drivin' vocal house that tells you not to worry, so
we won't Almost singalong this'll have the girlies around the
handbags (and attired with white stilletoes in Harlow). All
the ingredients are there, filtering, cool strings and another
Sax Solo + a breakdown. A tougher dub on the flipside that drives
harder with its relentless bassline and repeated vocal hook
means this can be played anywhere.
